Yearly collection of existing data

The consortium has initiated a unique collection of existing entrepreneurship indicators, which are updated and made available for members every year. In addition, the quality of these indicators are assessed and documented in the publication “Quality Assessment of Entrepreneurship Indicators”. 

Yearly collection of new data

Constructing new entrepreneurship data is challenging and requires years of experience together with large international network. The consortium has therefore teamed up with the OECD since 2005. Together, the OECD and the consortium have started new cutting edge projects including collection and validation of new types of more international comparable start-up rates across countries, and collection of new data on high-growth firms.

Policy analysis

Apart from data collection, the consortium engages in policy analysis work. Some of the projects include risk capital markets (both a policy and data track), regional entrepreneurship infrastructures, entrepreneurship education and bankruptcy legislation.
